STAMFORD, CT — Stamford's annual St. Patrick's Day parade is set for Saturday, March 2.

The parade will step off in downtown Stamford at the corner of Hoyt Street and Summer Street. It will proceed down Summer and go briefly onto Broad Street before taking a left onto Bedford Street and ending in Latham Park.

Stamford police are urging residents to seek alternate routes and be mindful of traffic delays in the area.

More than 100 community marching units, pipe bands, dancers and school organizations will participate in the parade, which is considered the largest in Fairfield County.
