Healthcare Training

CPR Training (Spanish) - $65

Learn how to recognize and respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies. Apply pediatric CPR and first aid techniques. Participants who complete the class will receive a 2-year CPR certification.

This hands-on class covers basic professional cooking skills, kitchen safety, and food preparation techniques for participants interested in food service work. This class is for participants who want to work in the restaurant/food industry.

ServSafe Online Certification Exam - $15

Where: Online

Get help registering for and completing the ServSafe online certification course. Participants will complete a two-hour online training and receive a ServSafe certificate from the National Restaurant Association upon completion.

OSHA 10 Construction Safety (Spanish) – $50

This two-session training teaches construction workers how to recognize and prevent common workplace safety hazards. Participants must attend all sessions to receive the OSHA 10 card. Cards are issued 2–3 weeks after completing the training. Payment is required at registration. You must be 18 years of age or older to participate in this course.

OSHA 30 Construction Safety (Spanish) – $150

Tech Classes: Level 1 (Spanish) – FREE

Learn the basics of using a computer in this beginner-level class. Participants will practice using the keyboard and touchpad, browsing the internet, managing email, and creating simple documents in the cloud.

Basic English recommended (Level 1 or higher).

Build on the computer skills learned in Level 1. Participants will practice creating documents, presentations, and spreadsheets, using online forms and calendars, and accessing digital resources.

The class also introduces basic cybersecurity, how to recognize online threats, and ways to help children stay safe when using the internet.

Immigrant Entrepreneurship Incubator (Spanish) – FREE

This program is designed for participants who want to start their own business or grow an existing one. Participants will learn about business structures, marketing strategies, and financial responsibilities such as accounting, insurance, and taxes.

After completing the program, participants can receive one-on-one mentorship to support their business goals. Eligible participants may also receive up to $500 in reimbursement for business operating expenses after completing at least 80% of the program and meeting all requirements.

Balloon Decoration Course (Spanish) – $30

Learn balloon decoration techniques for birthdays, baby showers, and other events. Participants will practice creating popular designs such as arches, columns, and table centerpieces while learning ways to add creativity and personality to their decorations.

The class will also cover basic tips for starting a balloon decoration business.
