Meet Mateo

Mateo is a day laborer in Stamford. He has been unable to find many jobs this winter but was excited to begin a March spring clean-up job on March 14th. This job got canceled because of COVID-19. As of today, he doesn't have more than .5 cents in his pocket. He gets some food from a local soup kitchen and churches. A gift of any size would help him tremendously to give him a chance to pay rent and keep a roof over his head.
