From the Dominican Republic to a U.S. Citizen

CTInsider columnist John Breunig sat down with Mayorin de la Rosa — a child psychologist from the Dominican Republic who built a thriving daycare center in Stamford and recently became a U.S. citizen with the guidance and support of B1C's immigration legal team. Her journey is one of faith, resilience, and determination: from selling her apartment in the Dominican Republic to fund her dream, to acing her citizenship test and finally feeling safe in the country she now calls home. Her story is a testament to what immigrant families can achieve when they have the right support behind them.
