New Milestone for Building One Community
By Stamford Patch - Building One Community.
Stamford-based Building One Community (B1C) reaches the milestone of supporting more than 15,000 immigrants in Fairfield County.
Since its inception in 2011, Building One Community (B1C) has strived to improve the lives of Fairfield County’s immigrant community members. This year marks an important milestone for B1C as it celebrates supporting over 15,100 + participants. It's through partnerships with local organizations and generous donors that B1C has been able to make such progress. Programs offered by B1C have touched the lives of people from over 117 countries across five continents; this wouldn't be possible without the dedication of our volunteers and staff, who are committed to making a difference in their community.
"Every day, we continue working towards creating a better future for all residents in Stamford and beyond– regardless of immigration status. We are proud of what we've achieved together and look forward to continuing to integrate immigrants and their families into our community. Thank you for your continued support," said Anka Badurina, Ph.D., Executive Director of Building One Community.
