From September 13-22, B1C is celebrating Welcoming Week, an annual series of nationwide events that bring together immigrants, refugees and long-time residents in a spirit of unity. We believe that all people are valued contributors who are vital to the success of our communities and shared future.

Welcoming Week celebrates our country’s highest values: opportunity and freedom. Since B1C opened its doors in 2011, nearly 10,000 immigrants have improved their English language skills, gained job skills and secured jobs, received immigration-related legal services, recovered unpaid wages, accessed food pantries and healthcare, and developed a sense of connection and belonging in their community.
