Immigrant Students Graduate From NCC/B1C Program

STAMFORD — Building One Community: Twenty students graduated from Building One Community – The Center for Immigrant Opportunity's (B1C) Home Health Aide program in partnership with Norwalk Community College (NCC) earlier this summer. This program prepares local immigrants to fill Home Health Aide vacancies and become economic contributors to our local community. The graduating class included a diverse group of participants that ranged in ages from 23 years old to 55 and represented 10 countries: Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico and Venezuela.
