STAMFORD — The nonprofit Building One Community is scheduled to hold free events to review the implications of the recent presidential election on the immigrant community.

“We would like to assure President-Elect Joe Biden, Congressman Jim Himes, and our Connecticut state legislative delegation that we will work with you energetically to advance the cause of immigrants in our community,” said Anka Badurina, executive director of Stamford-based B1C. “Post-election, we will approach our work with new vigor to accelerate immigrant integration and strengthen and unite our community. Right now, our focus is on addressing the ‘new now,’ and we will work around the clock to support the immigrant community.”
