Building One Community encourages summer reading

STAMFORD — Children and their parents took part in a month-long summer reading program, designed to help prevent the summer slide of reading and reading comprehension. The Building One Community program in its 6th year, encourages parents to work with their child and pairs students in grades K-5 with volunteers with various activities to promote good literacy skills.
