Near & Far Aid awards grant to immigrant community center

STAMFORD — Building One Community - The Center for Immigrant Opportunity, a community resource center for immigrants, has been awarded a $10,000 grant by the Near & Far Aid Association. The award enables Building One Community to maintain and enhance its core services that help Stamford-area immigrants gain job and language skills essential to their economic success, connect with resources that support their personal growth and prepare to contribute their talents to their new community.
