Perspectives: On the importance of aiding immigrants

As I write, I have just returned from the Fifth Annual Spring Benefit Breakfast for Building One Community (formerly Neighbors Link Stamford), the center for immigrant opportunity in Stamford.

It was an inspiring gathering with more than 500 guests. The organization’s purpose is simple: to help immigrants join and enhance the wider community.
