TPS Nicaragua, Haití y Honduras

Nicaragua:

TPS designation for Nicaragua has been terminated effective January 5, 2019. Unless an alternative lawful immigration status has been received by this date, Nicaraguans must leave the U.S. or face deportation.

Nicaraguans with TPS are required to re-register and reapply for Employment Authorization Document between December 15, 2017, and February 13, 2018. *

Honduras:

TPS designation for Honduras was automatically extended for six months with a new expiration date of July 5, 2018. If there is no further TPS extension for Hondurans beyond July 5, 2018, it can be expected that termination will be announced.

Hondurans with TPS are required to re-register and reapply for Employment Authorization Document between December 15, 2017, and February 13, 2018. *

Haiti:

TPS designation for Haitians has been terminated effective July 22, 2019. Unless an alternative lawful immigration status has been received by this date, Haitians must leave the U.S. or face deportation.

Haitians with TPS will be required to reapply for Employment Authorization Document in order to legally work in the United States until the end of the extension period. *
