Stamford, CT, December 11th – Building One Community (B1C) celebrated the season of giving with its largest-ever Holiday Toy Giveaway this past weekend, distributing over 900 toys and 900 books to local immigrant children in Stamford. The annual tradition brought joy to families and showcased the power of community collaboration.
The festive event featured arts and crafts, caroling, and games, creating a warm and cheerful atmosphere for all who attended. A special thanks goes to the dedicated volunteers from local schools, including Greenwich Academy, Greenwich Country Day School, King School, Brunswick School, and New Canaan High School, as well as the many partner organizations and generous donors who made this event possible- including Trinity Church, Lourdes Roque, and her team.
“Thanks to the incredible support from our community, we were able to bring smiles to so many children of immigrant families this year,” said Elena Perez, Executive Director at B1C. “This event is a reminder of what we can achieve when we come together to support one another.”
